Celebrating 10 years serving Phenix City

Thank you for your interest in Golden Acres Christian School. This unique ministry is available to Alabama homeschooling families in Russell or Lee county regardless of church affiliation. Our school provides compliance with Alabama homeschooling laws with minimal academic requirements. We are a ministry of Golden Acres Baptist Church. This year we are celebrating 10 years of ministry to the homeschooling community in Phenix City and the surrounding area.

2015-2016 Enrollment

Enrollment for the 2015-16 school year NOW CLOSED


If you are currently enrolled with Golden Acres, you are able to apply for next year by mail. Registration Forms may be turned in along with your Second Semester Progress Reports and Attendance Reports. We must have all reports from the 2014-2015 school year before we can process your new application. Applications for the 2015-2016 school year will be emailed and or mailed to each family during the month of May. We will begin processing those re-enrollment applications as soon as they are received. WE MUST RECEIVE YOUR REGISTRATION BEFORE JUNE 15TH IF YOU PLAN TO STAY ENROLLED AT GOLDEN ACRES. If you missed the June 15th deadline your guaranteed space has now expired. You may still apply for admission by completing your Registration Form, turning in all previously due reports, and paying your tuition as well as the $10 late fee. Your application will be processed on a first come, first served basis just like any new applicant.

Tuition will be the same cost as last year, $40 per family.

NEW APPLICANTS to Golden Acres Christian School will be able to apply starting June 16, 2015. Registration forms are available on the forms page (see top toolbar). Each applicant will need to include a
1.) Registration Form
2.) Disclaimer Form
3.) Record Release Form
4.) $40 tuition payment
Applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis. The school administrator will be at the church on Tuesday, June 16 from 10 am-noon to receive applicants wishing to submit forms on the first day. After June 16th, submit an application by dropping off at the church office between 9 am-4 pm Monday-Friday OR by mailing to 3405 S. Railroad St., Phenix City, AL 36867. We do have a limited number of openings for new families. Each applicant will be contacted in writing about their admission status. We are currently only enrolling families that are residents of Phenix City, Russell or Lee County.

ANNUAL PARENT MEETING date is Tuesday, August 25, 2015 AT 7:00 pm EST.It will be held at Golden Acres Baptist Church in the main building. Signs will be posted. This is our only mandatory meeting of the year. At least one parent MUST attend. More details about this meeting will be included in admission notification letters.


Any GACS forms may be printed from the new Forms webpage. Just click on the link to print any Attendance Reports or Elementary Progress Reports or High School Progress Report. End of year reports must be turned in before enrollment for next year will be accepted. Late reports are subject to a $10 fine. Updated reports for the 2015-16 school year will be available at the Parent Meeting.
First Semester reports are due by January 15th.
Second Semester reports are due by June 15th.
